About Me

Hello, my name is Owen Stanley. I am a rising second year student at Marist University. Technology and photography have always been core components of my identity. I am driven by a love for understanding and iteration that extends to throughout my code, photography, and all aspects of my life.

Being a self taught developer has allows me to explore nearly every part of the development process. From running multiple servers to automating Minecraft, I'm proud to say I've explored and learned a lot. Although Java and GO are my strongest languages, I believe kotlin is the most enjoyable language to work in. As fun as creating backend services and websites is, software infrastructure is what exists me the most about my path forward ^{as of 5/20/2025}.

As a photographer, I try to capture the joy and special moments in life. Candids and event photography make me feel connected to our world.

Music has always been a big part of my life. It started with learning piano and bass, where I played in my school's jazz band. In high school I became the resident audio engineer for my school's theater program, where I learned how to mix live sound and record audio. My love for live music has brought me to many concerts , and I cherish each experience.
